The aim of the session is to make teachers aware of the value of IPA, and give them practice in using it. If you don’t know your phonemic symbols, this is your chance! Please note, this session will be aimed at those with little or no knowledge of IPA. Those of you who are already experts need not attend!!
This FREE session will be open to all who wish to attend, not just staff at Madrelingua, so if you know of anyone who may be interested, feel free to pass this message on. As numbers are limited, please confirm by e-mail if you wish to attend.
Being a teacher can be a lonely job.
Of course, you are always working
with people, but many teachers have little direct contact with
colleagues and often there may by no support offered from academic
management, let alone on-the-job training.
For many teachers the only way to
develop professionally is to take the
initiative and search out resources for themselves, so as to be able to
try new ideas and so gain experience.
On these pages you will find training
materials and classroom
resources developed in-house, plus links to classroom
resources, articles and other useful resources available elsewhere.
Just follow
the links on the left of this page.
There's also a teaching FAQ page: if
you have a question, why not email
it to us on info@madrelinguabologna.com?
We'll do our best to reply to your email, and post your question and
the answer on the FAQs page for
everyone to read.
For teachers based in or near Bologna,
Italy, we offer a free monthly
training session, usually on a weekday morning when people are less
likely to be working. Please come if you can! All teachers are welcome,
wherever
they work and whatever their level of experience, but please let us
know in advance if
you'd like to come so we have an idea of the numbers. For booking or
further details please email:
